4. ANSWERING CALLS
4.1 Answering Calls
You can answer incoming calls on your cordless phone by pressing
either the Talk button or the Speaker button. If you press the Speaker
button, the handset operates in hands-free mode. To end a call in
either talk or hands-free modes, press the Talk button.
During a call you can switch the handset back and forth between
hands-free and talk mode by pressing the Speaker button.
4.2 Caller ID
This telephone company feature requires a Caller ID (CID) service
subscription from the telephone company.
The DX-80 system receives Type 1 Caller ID data from the telephone
company on all outside lines, and displays this data on the LCD.
1. When you answer an outside line with CID data, you can use
the left LCD soft key to toggle the displayed data between
Name received and Number received. For example:
