CAUTION
● This gauge is not designed to indicate
low engine oil level. Use the dipstick to
check the oil level. (See “Engine oil” in
the “Maintenance and do-it-yourself”
section.)
● If the gauge needle does not move with
the proper amount of engine oil, have
the vehicle checked by a NISSAN
dealer. Continued vehicle operation in
such a condition could cause serious
damage to the engine.
OUTSIDE TEMPERATURE DISPLAY
(if so equipped)
The outside temperature function provides a dis-
play of the outside temperature when the ignition
switch is placed in the ON position.
The display of positive temperatures is unsigned
(blank),negative temperatures areprefixed with a
minus sign.
