Setup of a Macintosh Computer
The steps below are for Mac OS 9.0.

Turn on the computer.

From the Apple menu, select Control Panels.

From the Control Panels menu, select TCP/IP.
The TCP/IP dialog box appears.

Select Ethernet from the Connect via pop-up menu.

Select Manually from the Configure pop-up menu.

Enter a local IP address, Subnet mask, Router address and
Name server address for the computer in the appropriate data
field.
≥The Subnet mask is normally entered as “255.255.255.0”. If you
intend to access the web screen of the KX-HGW200, you
should make this parameter the same as that of the
KX-HGW200 home side netmask.
≥In the Router address data field, enter “192.168.0.254” (default
local IP address of the KX-HGW200).
≥When you change the local IP address of the KX-HGW200, you
have to change it in the Router address data field also.
