1 Connect the DVI (out) socket of the computer to the Data 1 (DVI) socket of the projector
and secure the plugs by tightening the thumb screws.
For this, use the DVI cable supplied (4).
2 Connect the USB/USB Audio (upstream) socket of the projector to the USB downstream
port of the computer.
For this, use the VGA/USB cable supplied (1b).
or:
2 Connect the PS/2 (out) socket of the projector to the PS/2 (in) socket of the computer.
For this, use an optional PS/2 cable (2).
– You can now manipulate the mouse cursor on the computer and on the screen, using
Cursor Control on the remote control.When using the USB connection, make sure
Windows 98,Windows ME,Windows 2000 or Windows XP is installed on the computer.
– The display settings of the computer will be changed to fit the capability of the projector.
– Audio information from the computer will now be heard via the projector speaker (only
with bSure2 Brilliance version).
• When no USB connection has been made, you can connect the Audio out socket of the
computer to the Data 1 Audio socket of the projector.
For this use an optional audio cable (3).
– Audio information from the computer will now be heard via the projector speaker.
DVI to VGA connection
If your computer is not equipped with a DVI output:
1 Connect the DVI/VGA adaptor (4) supplied to the Data 1 (DVI) socket of the projector.
2 Connect the VGA/USB cable supplied (5) to both adaptor and Data out socket of the
computer.
3 Make the other connections as described above.
• When switching on, first switch on the projector and then the PC.
