al and workmanship and agrees to repair or re-
place u nder t his warranty any defective gaso-
line product or attachment as follows from the
original date of purchase.
2YEARS--Parts and Labor , when used for
household purposes.
90 DAYS -- Parts and Labor , when used for
commercial, professional, or income producing
purposes.
30 DA YS -- Parts and Labor , if used for rental
purposes.
This warranty is not transferable and does not
cover damage or liability caused by improper
handling, impropermaintenanceor alteration, or
the use of accessories and/or attachments not
specifically recommended by Poula n for this
tool. This warranty does not cover tune--up,
sparkplugs,filters,starterropes,startersprings,
cutting line, or rotating head parts that will wear
and require replacement with reasonable u se
during the warranty period. This warranty does
not cover pre--delivery setup or normal adjust-
ments e xplained in the instruction manual. This
warranty does not cover transportation costs.
Inthe eventyouhaveaclaimunderthiswarran-

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OB-
LIGATIONS: The U.S. E nvironmental
Protection Agency, California Air Resources
Board, Environment Canada and Poulan a re
pleasedtoexplaintheemissions controlsystem
warranty onyour year 2007 andlater small of f--
road eng ine. In Ca lifornia, al l small of f--road en-
gines must be designed, built, and equipped to
meet t he Sta te’s st ringent anti--smog stan-
dards. Poulan must warrant the emission
controlsystemonyoursmalloff-- roadengine
for the periods of time listed below provided
therehas beenno abuse, neglect, orimprop-
erm aintenanceofyoursmallof f--roadengine.
Your emission control system includes parts
such as the carburetor , the ignition system and
thefueltank(Californiaonly).Whereawarrant-
able condition exists, Poulan will repair your
small off--road engine at no cost to you. Ex-
penses coveredunderwarranty includediag-
nosis, parts and labor. MANUFACTURER’S
WARRANTYCOVERAGE:If anyemissions
related part on your engine (as listed under
Emissions Contr ol Wa rr ant y Part s Li st) is de-
fective or a defect in the materials orworkman-
ship of the engine causes the failure of such an
emission relatedpart, thepartwillbe repaired or
replaced by Poulan. OWNER’S WARRANTY
RESPONSIBILITIES: As the small off--road
engineowner,youareresponsiblefortheper-
formance of the required maintenance listed
in your instruction manual. Poulan recom-
mends that you retain all r eceipts covering
maintenance on your small off--road engine,
but Poulan cannot deny warranty solely for
the lack of receipts or for your failure to en-
sure the performance of all scheduled main-
tenance. Asthe smalloff--roadengineowner,
you should be aware that Poulan may deny
you warranty coverage if your small off--road
engine or a part of it has failed due toabuse,
neglect, improper m aintenance, unapproved
modifications,or theuseof partsnot madeor
approvedbytheoriginalequipmentm anufac-
turer. You are responsible for presenting your
