14.2.6 Configuring Kinetics
Perform the following procedure to configure a PI-MAX4: EM camera for Kinetics mode:
1. Click on the Readout expander and select Kinetics within the Readout Mode field.
2. Specify the desired Kinetics Window Height in number of rows.
The number of Frames per Readout is automatically
calculated and displayed in the Readout expander.
See Figure 14-14.

When the Kinetics Window Height value is changed, the
Frames per Readout value is recalculated. Consequently, the
value specified in
Common Acquisition Settings —>
Number of Frames
must be manually updated to reflect this
new Frames per Readout value.
An Experiment Warning is raised indicating a mismatch in
configuration parameters.
