■ Adjusting the Strength of the Flash
When shooting with the flash activated ( , lit, blinking), you can adjust the
strength of the flash.
q Set the mode dial to [ ] or [ ] and
press the MENU button.
w Press the or button to select
[FLASH STRENGTH].
e Press the or button to select the
desired strength (NORMAL, STRG or
SOFT) and press the ENTER button.
r Press the MENU button.
If you select STRONG, + is displayed on the
LCD monitor, and if you select SOFT, – is
displayed. There is no display when you
select NORMAL.
t Press the shutter release button to
shoot the image.

• Enable the keep settings mode to save the flash brightness setting.
