Using and Selecting Menu Options
Various menu options are available when you are
using the WAP Browser to navigate the Wireless
Web.
To access a menu option:
1. Press and hold the key.
A menu list displays.
2. Highlight a menu option by pressing the Up and
Down keys.
3. Select the option by pressing the
Select
soft
key.
4. If necessary, select a secondary option using the
Up and Down keys, and press the
Select
soft
key to confirm.
Note:
The menus may vary, depending on your
version of the WAP Browser.
The following options are available:
Reload
: reloads the current page.
Home
: takes you back at any time to the
homepage of the Wireless Web service provider.
To change
text input
mode
Press the key one or more
times.
To enter a
space
Press the
#
key.
To edit text

Set the cursor to the right of
the character(s) to be
corrected.

Press the
C
key as required.

Enter the correct character(s).

Go to URL
: allows you to manually enter the URL
address of the required Web page. After entering an
address, press the
OK
soft key to go there directly.
Show URL
: displays the URL address of the site to
which you are currently connected. It also enables
you to declare the current site as the startup
homepage.
Edit Home
: allows you to change the startup
homepage manually. Enter the required URL and
press the
OK
soft key. For more information about
entering text, numbers or symbols, see page 111.
Favorite
(Menu 7.2.2)
This menu option allows you to store the URL
addresses of your favorite web sites. You can access
this menu directly by pressing and holding down the
#
key while using the WAP Browser.
To store a URL address:
1. Select an empty location and press the
Options
soft key.
2. Enter the address and press the
Enter
soft key.
