Using Text Messaging
With Text Messaging, you can use a person’s wireless phone number
to send instant text messages from your web enabled phone to their
messaging-ready phone – and they can send messages to you. When
you receive a new message, you’ll automatically be notified with a
one-way text message.
In addition, messaging includes a variety of pre-set messages, such as
“I’m running late, I’m on my way,” that make composing messages
fast and easy.
To send a text message:
1. Press for Main Menu.
2. Press for Messaging.
3. Press for Send Message
4. Enter the phone number or email address of the person to
whom you’re sending a message and press .
5. Enter your message using the keypad. Press to select
the desired character format. Press when finished.
6. Press to send.
Sending Options
When you are sending a new text message, there are options
associated with the new message. These options allow you to
configure the following:
• Priority - allows you to set the priority level between
Normal and Urgent.
• Call Back # - allows you to enter or omit a call back number
in your message.
