General
Problem Cause/Remedy
The TV turns off automatically
(the TV enters standby mode)
• Check if the Sleep Timer function is activated (page 28).
• Check if the Auto Shutoff is activated (page 28).
• If no signal is received or no operation is performed in the TV mode for 10
minutes, the TV automatically switches to standby mode.
Some input sources cannot be
selected
• Select “AV Preset” in the “Set Up” menu and cancel “Skip” of the input
source (page 30).
The remote does not function
• Check that the remote is set correctly for the equipment you are using.
• If the remote does not operate the equipment even when the remote has been
set correctly to the equipment, enter the necessary code set as explained in
“Programming the remote” (page 37).
• Replace the batteries.
The 1 (standby) indicator
flashes
• Digital programme is set for “Timer REC”. For details, see “Checking the
Digital Electronic Programme Guide (EPG)” on page 16.
