Before you start...
• Refer to “Index to parts and controls” for button locations.

Turn on your TV and set it to the video channel.
To record from a decoder, turn it on.
If no picture or sound is reproduced on the TV, press
t TV/MAGN on the remote commander to display MAGN or
VIDEO indicator on the display window.

Insert a tape with its safety tab in place.

• To record a normal channel, press CHAINE +/– until the
programme position number or station name you want appears in
the display window.
• To record from a decoder or other source connected to one or
more of the LIGNE inputs, press CHOIX ENTREE until the
connected line appears in the display window.

Press SP/LP to select the tape speed, SP or LP.*

LP (Long Play) provides recording time twice as long as SP.
However, SP (Standard Play) produces better picture and audio
quality.
