1 Press GUIDE.
The Grid menu appears on the TV screen
with the Grid column highlighted on the
menu bar. The cursor is the top item of
the Grid menu.
If the program information signal in
your area has several channel map
patterns, the Channel map selection
menu appears the first time you press
the GUIDE button. In this case, you
have to select the channel map on the
Channel map selection menu. See “To
select the channel map” on page 59.
About the GUIDE Plus+ system
The GUIDE Plus+ system can display a two-day on-screen program list
(transmitted from certain TV stations) on the TV screen. You can select the
program you want to record from this program list.
You need to use the on-screen menus to use the GUIDE Plus+ system. Learn
how to select the GUIDE Plus+ on-screen menus before you use the GUIDE
Plus+ system.
Learning the menu
Press GUIDE to enter the GUIDE Plus+
on-screen menu, then navigate with the
cursor stick, blue and green colored
buttons.
Before you start…
• Turn on your TV and set it to the
video channel.
