requirementsofthe Postal Ordinance No. 243/1991.The additional marking“Vfg. 243/P” expressesin
shortform that this is a peripheraldevice (not operablealone) which onlyindividually meets the Class
BRFI requirements in accordancewiththe DIN VDE 0878part 3/11.89andthe PostaIOrdinance243/
1991,
Ifthis deviceisoperated inconjunctionwithotherdevices within aset-up, inorderto take advantageof
a“General(Operating)Authorization”inaccordancewiththePostal Ordinance243/1991,thecomplete
set-upmustcomply withthe Class B limits in accordancewith theDIN VDE 0878part3/11.89,aswell
as satisfy the preconditions in accordance with $2 and the prerequisites in accordance with $3 of the
Postal Ordinance 243/1991.
As a rule, this is only fulfilled when the device is operated in a set-up which has been type-tested and
providedwith a VDE RFI protection mark with the additional marking “Vfg 243”.
Machine Noise Information Ordinance 3. GSGV, January 18, 1991:The sound pressure level at the
operatorposition is equal or less than 70 dB(A) according to 1S0 7779.
