Internal Battery Replacement
Undernormalconditions,theoriginalbatteriesinyourUPSwilllastmanyyears.SeeSafetysectionbeforereplacingbatteries.Thebatteries
aredesignedforhot-swapreplacement(i.e.leavingtheUPSON),butsomequalifiedservicepersonnelmaywishtocompletelyturntheUPS
OFFanddisconnectequipmentbeforeproceeding.
Storage
BeforestoringyourUPS,turnitcompletelyOFF.IfyoustoreyourUPSforanextendedperiodoftime,rechargetheUPSbatteriesfor4to6
hoursonceeverythreemonths.Note:afteryouconnecttheUPStoutilitypower,itwillautomaticallybeginchargingitsbatteries.Ifyouleave
yourUPSbatteriesdischargedforanextendedperiodoftime,theywillsufferapermanentlossofcapacity.

MaterialAuthorization(RMA)number,whichis requiredforservice.This simpleon-lineform willaskfor yourunit’smodeland serial
numbers,alongwithothergeneralpurchaserinformation.TheRMAnumber,alongwithshippinginstructionswillbeemailedtoyou.Any
damages(direct,indirect,specialorconsequential)totheproductincurredduringshipmenttoTrippLiteoranauthorizedTrippLiteservice
centerisnotcoveredunderwarranty.ProductsshippedtoTrippLiteoranauthorizedTrippLiteservicecentermusthavetransportationcharges
prepaid.MarktheRMAnumberontheoutsideofthepackage.Iftheproductiswithinitswarrantyperiod,encloseacopyofyoursalesreceipt.
