. The default setting for this feature is “NORMAL,” whereby the “Tip” con-
nection on the Key Plug is “Dot” and the “Ring” connection is “Dash.” To change the
paddle polarity:
Ÿ Press and hold in the

FUNC

key for one second to enter the Menu mode.
Ÿ Rotate the SELECT knob to recall Menu Mode No-001

, then rotate
the DIAL to change the setting to “ON” to enable the extended Menu Mode, if needed.
Ÿ Rotate the SELECT knob to select Menu Mode No-025

]

Ÿ Rotate the DIAL knob to select the new setting.
Ÿ When done, press and hold in the
[
FUNC
]
key for one second to save the new setting
and exit to normal operation.
Menu Mode No-025 [CW KEY REV] is most frequently utilized five minutes be-
fore a contest, when you realize your keyer paddle is wired backwards!
