ActiveSync Desktop Software installed on the PC
Free memory of at least 2 MB on your handheld.
Audacity Software Installation
The software is installed from a downloaded zip file. Double click on the zip file and then double click on
the .exe file to run the setup program from the downloaded file. Follow the instructions on each screen.
The Installer screen allows you to select which applications supplied with the Audacity System will be
installed to the PC and on your PDA/Smartphone the next time you Sync. The choices are:
AudFile Transfer -- The desktop conduit allowing ActiveSync to automatically sync the audio files to
your desktop.
LAM (Local Audacity Manager)--The Audacity desktop file management and transport application.
CardSpeed -- A free utility to help you determine the quality of your SD Card for good audio creation.
Audacity Professional PPC -- The Audacity Professional handheld application along with AudAlarm, a
program associated with Audacity to keep track of audio alarms. These two applications are installed on
the handheld.
