Manually Setting Image Characteristics
The ISO speed, contrast, sharpness and saturation settings can be adjusted for shooting.

In the [ (Rec.)] menu, select one of
the above items.

Select a value for the item and press
the Menu button.
ISO speed
• Switch speeds when you are shooting in dark
areas or want to use a fast shutter speed.
• You can select from 50, 100, 200, 400 and AUTO.
• The default setting is ISO 50.
• When AUTO is selected, the camera
automatically adjust ISO between 50 and 100
only.
• Higher ISO speeds increase the image noise. To
take clean images, use as low an ISO speed as
possible.
Contrast
• Select from - (Weak), 0 (Neutral) and + (Strong).
Sharpness
• Select from - (Weak), 0 (Neutral) and + (Strong).
Saturation
• Select from - (Weak), 0 (Neutral) and + (Strong).

Shoot the image.
• These settings cannot be adjusted in the , , , , , , and
shooting modes. In the mode, the [ISO speed] cannot be set to [AUTO].
• The setting is not cancelled when the camera is turned off.
