Pressingthealarmmutekeyatanytimewillsilencethebuzzer.Thelengthof
themuteperioddependsontheseverityofthealarm.(See“AlarmIndicators”
onpage16.)Duringthismuteperiod,themuteLEDwillremainilluminated,
indicatingthealarmbuzzerismuted.Pushthemutekeyagaintounmute
alarms.Pressingthemutekeywhenthereisnoactivealarmwillmuteany
futuremediumorlowpriorityalarmsforeighthours.See“Troubleshooting”
(page20)foradditionalinformationonalarms.
TURNING OFF
PRECAUTION:
ALWAYSTURNOFFTHISDEVICEWHENNOTINUSE.
ToturnthePortableOxygenConcentratoroff,pressandholdthepower
key.Thedevicewillchirpandthescreenwilldisplayashutdownmessage
“Shuttingoff”forapproximatelyfiveseconds,thengointolow-powermode.
Note: Do not disconnect the AC power supply and remove the battery at the same time while the
unit is running. Always use the power key to turn the device off. Wait until the device has
completely shut down before disconnecting from power and removing the battery.
