iii. Positionone(1)offsetaxleplateontheoutsideofthewheelchairframeinthe

appropriatepositiondeterminedinSTEPi.

iv. Positionthesecondoffsetaxleplateinthesamepositionasthefirstone,onthe 

insideofthewheelchairframe.

v. Installthetwo(2)mountingboltsandlocknutsthroughhole1andhole4of

bothoffsetaxleplatesandtheframemountingholestosecuretheplatestothe

wheelchairframe(Detail“A”).Handtighten.

5. Installthepermanentaxlethroughthehubcapwasher,rearwheel,two(2)spacers,

offsetaxleplatesandoffsetaxlespacer.

ƽ WARNING

The offset axle spacer MUST be positioned between the two (2) offset axle plates.

Otherwise, injury or damage may occur.

6. Tightenthetwo(2)locknutssecuringtheoffsetaxleplatestothewheelchairframe.

Torqueto30‐35ft‐lbs.

7. Installthelocknutontothepermanentaxle.Torqueto40‐45ft‐lbs.
