[Parental Control]
With the Parental Control function, you can
restrict access to DVDs that are not suitable
for your children. The rating levels are country
dependent. To view DVDs that are rated
higher than the set level, you should enter a
4-digit password.
• [1. Kid Safe]
Suitable for children.
• [2. G]
Recommended as acceptable for viewers
of all ages.
• [3. PG]
Parental guidance suggested.
• [4. PG-13]
Parental guidance suggested.
• [5. PG-R]
Parental Guidance; recommended that
parents restrict children under 17 from
viewing.
• [6. R]
Restricted; recommended only when
supervised by a parent or adult guardian.
• [7. NC-17]
Not recommended for children under
age 17.
• [8. Adult]
Viewed only by adults due to graphic
sexual scenes, violence, or language.
Tip
This function is only available for DVDs that •
are coded with rating levels.
[Set Password]
The password is used for Parental Control.
The default password is ‘0000’.
To change the password,
1 Press to select [Set Password], and
then press OK.
[Digital Output]
Selects the setting based on the digital
amplier/receiverthatisconnectedthrough
the digital jack.
• [Off]: Disable digital output.
• [PCM]: Downmix to PCM format
(2 channel).
• [All]: Support multi-channel audio
formats.
Note
Applicable only to Dolby Digital encoded •
DVD.
[Down Sampling]
Select the output sampling rate for better
sound quality.
• [On]: For discs recorded at sampling rate
of 48 kHz.
• [Off]: For discs recorded at sampling rate
of 96 kHz.
[Smart Sound]
Select a sound effect for music.
