Camera settings:
•Timer
: allows you to set a time delay before the
camera takes the photo. Select the length of delay
you want and touch the Off, 2 sec, 5 sec, and 10
sec. When you press the Camera key, the camera
takes the photo after the specified time elapses.
•Resolution
: sets the photo resolution to:
2048x1536, 1600x1200, 12800x960, or
320x240.
White balance
: allows you to set this option from
the following choices: Auto, Daylight, Cloudy,
Incandescent, or Fluorescent.
Effects
: allows you to change the color tone or
apply special effects to the photo. Options include:
Normal, Black and White, Negative, or Sepia.
•Metering
: allows you to set how the camera
measures or meters the light source: Center-
weighted, Spot, or Matrix.
Image quality
: sets the photo quality (compression)
to: Superfine, Fine, or Normal.
Adjust
: enhances additional camera settings such
as Contrast, Saturation, and Sharpness. Move the
corresponding slider to adjust the value.
General settings
:
Guidelines
: displays alignment or framing
guidelines to perfectly set up each shot.
•Review
: displays the photo for review. Selections
are: Off, 2 sec, or On.
•GPS
: records GPS information onto the image file.
Shutter sound
: allows you to select a tone to play
when the camera’s shutter opens and closes.
Sound selections are Sound 1, Sound 2, Sound 3,
or Off.
Reset
: resets the camera settings to the default
settings.

Camera / Camcorder Mode
: allows you to take
a photo in various modes. Once you change
the mode, the corresponding indicator
appears at the top left of the display. Choose
from Camera or Camcorder.

Camera button
: takes a photo when pressed in
Camera mode.
7.
Quick view
: displays the photo for quick
viewing.
Camcorder Options
You can change options using your keypad in
capture mode. The following short cuts are
available:
