Removing the Background Color
You can adjust the background color by specifying the level from between 1 and 5
so that you can erase the background color of the document on the copy.

Press [Menu].

Press [((-)] or [)(+)] to select <COPY SETTINGS> ➞ press [Set].

Press [((-)] or [)(+)] to select <REMOVE BACKGROUND> ➞
press [Set].

Press [((-)] or [)(+)] or use the numeric keys to specify the
appropriate level ➞ press [Set].
Select a smaller number for a stronger effect. As you select a larger number, the effect
becomes less pronounced.

Press [Stop/Reset] to return to the standby display.
NOTE
•
It may be unable to erase the background color even if you specify the level <1>
according to the step 4 above.
•
It may be unable to erase the background color if the document is deep in color.
