(MENU 2-1-7)
You can send an SMS query to receive information
from the web server. Various topics, such as news,
sports, entertainment, and finance, are available.
Once you select a topic, your phone sends a query
with the code associated with the selected topic,
and the server will send you the requested
information in an SMS message.

Selecting this menu loads the WAP page preset by
your service provider so that you can get
information about your service provider’s latest
offerings, such as downloads, pricing plans,
entertainment, technical help, and customer
services.

Using this menu, you can:
• create and send a text message.
• read your text messages and listen to voice
messages.
• create and send a namecard.
• use the message templates.
• view how many messages you have sent or
received.
Note
: You can quickly access the
Message
menu by
pressing in Standby mode.

(MENU 2-2-1)
In this menu, you can create and send a text
message.
Note
: You can quickly access the
New Msg.
menu by
pressing and holding in Standby mode.
1. Enter a message and press .
For further details about entering characters,
see page 28.
2. Enter the phone number of the destination using
the number keypad.
Pressing allows you to search for a number
from Phonebook by a person’s or group’s name.
When you find the number, press to place a
check mark and press .
3. If you want to send the message to more than
one person, press and fill in another
destination field.
Note
: You will be billed for each phone number.
4. If necessary, repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more
phone numbers. You can enter up to 20
numbers.
5. When you are finished, press to send the
message.
6. When the message has been sent successfully,
the display asks if you want to save it in the
Sent Msg.
