IrDA

Using this menu, you can send or receive
Phonebook entries or name cards.
Notes
:
• To send or receive data via IrDA, you must check
whether or not the other phone’s IrDA feature is
active.
• You can use an i
nfrared connection with other
Samsung phones. Depending on the IrDA protocol
type, some phones may not share with your
Samsung phone.
• For optimal communication, the IrDA ports between
the 2 phones should be close to each other.
Receiving data
1. Select
Rx Mode
on the Useful Tools screen and
press .
2. Align
the IrDA ports between the 2 phones, as
shown.

The received data is automatically saved in the
corresponding folder.

: To receive data via IrDA, the phone that will
receive data must be set to

Sending your namecard
1. Select
Send Namecard
on the Useful Tools
screen and press .
2. Align
the IrDA ports between the 2 phones

To send all of the entries in your Phonebook:
1. Select
Send Phonebooks
on the Useful Tools
screen and press .
2. Select
Total
and press .
3. Align
the IrDA ports between the 2 phones

4. When you have finished, press .
To send caller group entries:
1. Select
Send Phonebooks
on the Useful Tools
screen and press .
2. Select
Group searching
and press .
3. Scroll through the list and press to select a
caller group. Repeat this step to select more
caller groups.
