Incoming
(MENU 2-2-2)
Your phone can receive voice mail and text
messages. When the phone receives a message, an
alert sounds, and a text notification displays along
with the New Message icon ( ). The icon remains
on the display until you read the text message(s) or
listen to the voice message(s).
Your phone receives incoming messages in both
Standby mode and Talk mode. Messages can be
received when the phone is locked, but you cannot
access them. To review messages, you must unlock
the phone.
When the memory is full and a new message comes

to receive the new one. If all of the messages are
protected or not reviewed, the phone rejects new
messages.
