Programme Labels Assigns a channel name of your choice.
1 Press F/f to select the channel you want to name, then press .
2 Press F/f to select the desired letter or number (“_” for a blank space), then
press g.
If you enter a wrong character
Press G/g to select the wrong character. Then, press F/f to select the correct
character.
3 Repeat step 2 until you finish entering the name.
4 Press to exit the labeling procedure.
Intelligent Picture On with Indicator Automatically reduces the picture noise. The signal level bar
is displayed when the channel is changed or the display is
changed from an input screen to a TV programme.
On Automatically reduces the picture noise.
Off Turns off the “Intelligent Picture” feature.
Manual Programme
Preset
To preset a channel, press PROG +/– to select the channel number.

• You cannot select a channel number that is set to “Skip” (page 54).
Programme Select a channel number to tune manually.
System Select a TV broadcast system.
Channel Select “S” for cable channels or “C” for terrestrial channels.
AFT Allows you to fine-tune the selected channel manually if you
feel that a slight tuning adjustment may improve picture
quality.
When “On” is selected, fine tuning adjustments are made
automatically.
Audio Filter Improves the sound of individual channels when distortion
occurs in mono broadcasts.

You cannot receive stereo or dual sound when “Low” or
“High” is selected.
Skip Skips unused analogue channels when you press PROG +/–
to select channels. To select channels you have programmed
to skip, use the corresponding number buttons.
Signal Level Displays the signal level for current programme.
Digital Set-up
Subtitle Set-up Subtitle Setting Displays visual aids for the hearing impaired with subtitles (if
available) by setting to “For Hard Of Hearing”.

Audio Set-up Audio Type Switches to broadcast for the hearing impaired when you
select “For Hard Of Hearing”.
