This is where you can embed
Microsoft hotfixes into the
installation. In theory, you should be
able to embed all of the hotfixes
provided by Sony. I haven’t tried this
however, because prefer to run
Windows Update after installation and
get the most current hotfixes that
way.
• The one hotfix you do need to include
is KB835211.exe
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/835
221). This is the Universal Audio
Architecture system for HD (5.1) audio
from Microsoft. Do not confuse this
with KB888111.exe
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888
111) which is very similar but doesn’t
actually work with my Sony PC.
