71 Setting up TopAccess
TopAccess allow you to manage your GA-1040 remotely from the Internet or from
your company’s intranet. The GA-1040 has its own home page, from which you are
able to select from a variety of functions.
For more information on using Webtools, see the Printing Guide and the
Configuration Guide.
Setting up TopAccess
In order for network users to set up and use TopAccess, you need to set certain
GA-1040 options in Protocol Setup from the Touch Panel Display. You also need to
prepare each user’s workstation to communicate with the GA-1040 over the Internet
or intranet.

TO SET UP TOPACCESS ON THE GA-1040 (DHCP)
1. Find the IP address on the Printed Settings list.
2. Use this IP address to connect to the GA-1040 using the Internet Browser.
