To install a VMware license server

1InserttheVMwareInfrastructureInstallationCD.

IftheVMwareInfrastructureManagementInstallerappears,clickcanceltoexit.

2 Navigatetothe\vpxfolderontheinstallationCDanddouble‐click

VMware‐licenseserver.exe.

3VerifythatyouareinstallingthelicenseserverandclickNext.

4Toacceptthelicenseagreement,selectIacceptthe

termsinthelicenseagreement

andclickNext.

5 SelectthefolderinwhichyouwanttoinstallthelicenseserverandclickNext.

6TypethefullpathtoyourlicensefileorclickBrowsetolocatethisfileandclick

Next.

Thelicensefileshouldbelocatedinadirectory

youcanaccessfromyourlicense

servermachine.

7ClickInstalltobegintheinstallation.

8ClickFinishtocompletethelicenseserverinstallation.
