Scanner Installation
Overview
This chapter describes how to set up and install the standalone OpScan iNSIGHT
70 scanner, the computer, the monitor, and the mouse.
The OpScan iNSIGHT 70 scanner system consists of the following components:
• Model OpScan iNSIGHT 70 scanner
• Computer
• SVGA monitor
• Duplex Heads (InfraRed/Red)
• Transport Printer (optional)
• Bar Code (optional)
Preparation
Before assembling the standalone OpScan iNSIGHT 70 scanner, check to make
sure that you have all the hardware and accompanying documentation as listed
below.
Hardware
The following hardware components are required:
• Computer with SVGA monitor, keyboard, mouse, and furniture (standalone
only)
Documentation: Manufacturer's user manuals
• A model OpScan iNSIGHT 70 image scanner with interface card and cable
