Network Installation
The OpScan iNSIGHT 70 scanner in a network configuration requires an Pearson
NCS-supplied computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse and required networking
equipment. An optional printer may also be installed.

Computer
This section discusses installation and internal cabling for the host computer in a
network configuration.
Installation
Do the following.
1. Remove the computer’s cover.
Caution: Use ESD precautions (including a grounded wrist strap) for step 2.
2. Make sure the scanner interface cards and all ribbon cables are fully seated.
3. Replace the cover on the computer.
4. Open the rear panel doors and place the computer on the shelf. The front of the
computer must face the front of the scanner.
