4. SET UP
■ CHARGING BY EXTERNAL
CHARGING CONNECTOR
• Be sure to insert the connector
firmly. If it is not fully inserted, it
might move out of place, and
the engine will not stop even if
you operate the switch.
• After connecting the connector
firmly, make sure that the cord
is not touching anything around
it.
When charging the battery using the
external charging connector, do not
mount any other battery in the
charger.
This product is designed to be
charged without removing the
battery.
1. Disconnect the connector clamped
under the clutch housing.
When removing the connector, do
not forcibly pull it out. Remove it
while pressing the projection of the
connector cover on the battery side.
2. Connect the external charging
connector extending from the
charger associated with this
product to the connector on the
battery side.
3. Insert the jack of the AC adapter
into the charger.
4. Insert the power-supply plug of the
AC adapter into your household
power-supply outlet (AC220 V).
The “Power supply/POWER” and
“Charging/CHARGE” lamps turn
on (red).
