4. SET UP
■ INSTALLING THE BATTERY
• Make sure that there is no
foreign substance or fluid in the
area where the battery is to be
installed. If any foreign
substance or fluid adheres to
the terminal(s) of the battery,
contact failure may occur,
posing a risk of danger. If any
foreign substance or fluid
adheres to the terminal(s) of the
battery, remove it.
• Make sure that the cover is
firmly mounted. If the screws
are not sufficiently tightened,
water and dust might permeate
the battery.
1. Make sure that the stop switch in
the switch box is set to “Stop.”
2. Remove the four Philips screws
(M4 x L12) in the lower part of the
switch box, and take the cover off.
Be careful not to lose the removed
screws.

3. After aligning the direction of the
terminal with the switch box, insert
the battery firmly until you hear a
click.
Make sure that the battery is securely
installed. Failure to do so may result
in contact failure.

4. Install the battery using the
procedure opposite to the one for
taking the cover off.
The cover has a correct direction.
Mount the cover so as to fit the
shape of the switch box.
