LABEL DESCRIPTION
Active Select this check box to enable broadcast storm control on the switch. Clear this
check box to disable the feature.
Port This field displays a port number.
Active Select this check box to enable broadcast storm control on the port. Clear this check
box to disable the feature.
Rate Specify the traffic a port receives in Kilobits per second (Kbps).
If you enter a number between 64 and 1728, the switch automatically rounds the
number down to the nearest multiple of 64.
If you enter a number between 1729 and 1999, the rate is fixed at 1792.
If you enter a number between 2000 and 103999, the switch rounds the number down
to the nearest multiple of 1000.
On a Gigabit Ethernet/ Mini-GBIC port, the switch rounds a number down to the
nearest multiple of 8000 for a number between 104000 and 1000000.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes back to the switch.
Cancel Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
