Reset System Menu
Reset Sy stem
Main Menu\System Management\Reset System\
The Reset System menu (see Figure 5-53) is used to reboot the entire system.
CAUTION
This action is service affecting. If the system is accessed remotely
through a static IP address, the system resets and access is lost
until the system reboot is completed.
When the Reset System option is selected, the system resets the
host unit and all client units without additional prompting.

The Reset System menu options are shown in Table 5-54.

Option Description Function
1 Reset This option reboots the Total Access 1248. All system
options are retained.
2 Exit This option returns the display to the “System
Management Menu” on page 5-47. The system does not
reboot.

Reset System

This option resets the entire system.
All system parameters will be retained.
