The Scratch Pad, Circuit ID, and Time/Date Screen
(Figure 16) provides a Scratch Pad for user-defined
information and can be any alphanumeric string up to
50 characters in length. The Circuit ID can be any
alphanumeric string up to 25 characters in length. The
time should be entered using military time. (For
example, enter 3:15 p.m. as “151500”.) The date should
be entered in the MMDDYY format. (For example,
enter January 02, 2003, as “010203”.)
The
T1 Alarm History menu (Figure 17) and HDSL4
Span History
menu (Figure 18) provide a detailed alarm
history and events log for the HDSL4 and T1 spans.
These screens include a time, date, first and last occur-
rence, and count for each type of HDSL4 or T1 alarm.
A historical alarm log is also available in the
System
Alarm
menu.
