7. Operation
■ ADJUSTING IDLING SPEED
(OP9)
1. When the engine tends stop
frequently at idling mode, turn the
adjusting screw clockwise.
2. When the cutting head keeps
rotating after releasing the trigger,
turn the adjusting screw counter-
clockwise.
(1) Idle adjusting screw
• Warm up the engine before
adjusting the idling speed.
•Always wear work gloves made
of leather or some other sturdy
material when using the
polesaw.
• Falling branches may fall onto
the face or into the eyes,
resulting in injuries, scratches,
and cuts, and for this reason
you should always be sure to
wear a helmet and face
protector when using your
polesaw.
