FINAL INSTALLATION
This section describes how to modify your hood, install the ground hooks, and secure
your dyno for use.
MODIFYING AND INSTALLING THE HOOD
The hood will need to be modified in order to fit over the mobile base rear wheels.
1 Using the measurements in Figure 1-24, make the necessary cuts in the hood.

2 Verify the bolts and the set screws on the couplers are tight.
3 Place the modified hood on the dyno leaving it propped up. Secure the key
switch, if present, and connect the battery.
4 Lower and secure the hood using the four bolts you removed earlier. Refer to
Figure 1-2.
5 Secure the hood clamps to the brake using the two bolts you removed earlier.
Refer to Figure 1-1.
6 Replace and secure the brake cover using the four bolts you removed earlier.
