b) When a C*.MXF file is deleted, the
C*S01.MXF file with the same number is also
deleted automatically.
Directories cannot be created in the Sub
directory.
General directory
a) File name up to 63 characters
b) Only when the write-protect tab on the disc is
set to enable recording
The following directory operations are
possible in the General directory.
• Directory creation (up to 64 levels,
including the General directory)
• Deletion and renaming of directories
• The maximum number of files which can
be created on a disc, including
directories, is 5000.
• The following characters can be used in
file names and directory names.
0 to 9 (digits), a to z (lowercase
alphabetic), A to Z (uppercase
alphabetic), @ (at mark), – (minus), _
(underscore), . (period), and ~ (tilde).
