8.3 Diagnostic
The diagnostic facility allows you to test the different aspects of your Prestige to determine if it is working
properly. Menu 24.4 allows you to choose among various types of diagnostic tests to evaluate your system,
as shown below.

Follow the procedure below to get to Diagnostic
Step 1. From the Main Menu, select option 24 to open Menu 24 - System Maintenance.
Step 2. From this menu, select option 4. Diagnostic. This will open Menu 24.4 - System Maintenance -
Diagnostic.
The following table describes the diagnostic tests available in Menu 24.4 for your Prestige and the
connections.

Field Description
Hang Up B1 Call This tool hangs up the B1 channel. This is only applicable if the B1 channel is
currently in use.
Hang Up B2 Call This tool hangs up the B2 channel. This is only applicable if the B2 channel is
currently in use.
Reset ISDN This command re-initializes the ISDN link to the telephone company.
ISDN Connection You can test to see if your ISDN line is working properly by using this option.
