Work Orders and the Matrix/ADP Interface
For meters configured to use the Matrix ADP Interface,
dispenses are tracked by work order. This version of
Matrix requires that work orders entered at a Matrix PC
or at a meter, be validated before fluid can be dis-
pensed. Once the dispense is complete, the appropriate
charge for the fluid will be automatically posted (added)
to the work order (RO) in ADP.
Matrix/ADP Interface Configured For Parts
1. To add a work order, left click Add Work Order,
located in the upper left corner of the screen (F
IG.
52).
2. Select the desired meter from the drop-down box.
This is the meter (fluid) that will dispense the fluid on
the work order being entered.
3. Enter a work order number, up to 12 characters.
This must exactly match the RO number in ADP.
4. Enter a job code, up to 3 characters in length that
must follow a specific format. This field is where the
user tells Matrix where on the ADP RO the fluid part
must be added.
The job code field is always a letter (or two letters),
optionally followed by a number. The information
that Matrix needs is the target line code and labor
operation under that line code. The line code can
range from A-Z and AA-ZZ. The labor operation
ranges from 1 to 9. It is acceptable to specify only
the line code and omit the labor operation; Matrix
will automatically use labor operation 1 if it is not
specified. Examples of typical job codes: A1, A, B1,
B2, B. The default job code is β€œA1”.
5. Continue with Add Work Order (Common to Parts
& Service).
