■ HOW TO SHARPEN THE BLADE
• When the blade has worn away
and its edges have become
round, contact the shop where
you bought this product and
ask it to sharpen the edges.
Sharpening the blade requires
special skills, and appropriate
tools and techniques are
required.
• If you sharpen the blade
yourself, be sure to round off
the blade edges to prevent the
blade edge from chipping.
• If you sharpen the blade with a
sharpening machine, the blade
edges might become hot and
break into pieces if cooled in
water, causing danger. Allow
the heated blade edges to cool
down naturally in air.
Be prepared for your cutting work by
sharpening the blade, for example,
during lunchtime. When sharpening
the blade, use the tools specified in
the left table.
