9. Hopper Switch
Thehopperswitchislocatedintheupperrighthandcorner
ofthehopper.Thisswitchisdesignedtoshutdownthefeed
motorwheneverthehopperlidisopened.
10. Igniter
Theigniterismountedonthebaseoftherepot.Combustion
airtravelsovertheredhotignitercreatingsuperheatedair
thatignitesthepellets.
11. Junction Box And Wiring Harness
Thejunctionboxislocatedontherightsideoftheappliance,
behindtheinteriorshield.Thejunctionboxandwiringharness
arereplacedasonecomponent.
12. Power Supply
Thepoweroutletislocatedonthebackoftheappliance,
lowerrightcorner.Checkthewallreceptaclefor120volt,
60Hz(standardcurrent).Makesuretheoutletisgrounded
andhasthecorrectpolarity.Agoodsurgeprotectoris
recommended.
13. Red Call Light
Theredcalllightisonthefrontofthejunctionbox,nexttothe
resetbutton.Thefunctionoftheredcalllightistoindicate
thatthethermostatiscallingforheat.
14. Reset Button
Theresetbuttonislocatedontherightsideoftheapppliance
nexttotheredcalllight.Thefunctionofthe buttonis to
momentarilyopenthethermostatcircuit,whichrestartsthe
system.
15. Thermocouple
Thethermocoupleislocatedontopof therepotinside
thethermocouplecover(ceramicprotection tube).The
thermocouplesendsamillivolt signaltothecontrolbox
indicatingthepresettemperaturesofthegreenandredlights
havebeenobtained.

2. Convection Blower
Theconvectionblowerismountedatthebottomrearofthe
appliance.Thereare2impellers,oneoneachsideofthe
motor.Theconvectionblowerpushesheatedairthroughthe
heatexchangesystemintotheroom.
3. Combustion (Exhaust) Blower
Thecombustionblowerismountedonthelowerleftside
onrearofappliance.Thebloweris designedtopullthe
exhaustfromtheapplianceandpush itout through the
ventingsystem.
4. Feed System
Thefeedsystemislocatedinthehopperunderthefeed
motorcoverboxontheleftsideoftheapplianceandcan
beremovedasanentireassembly.Theassemblyincludes
thefeedmotor,mountingbracket,bearingandfeedspring
(auger).Thehollowfeedspring(auger)pullspelletsupthe
feedtubefromthehopperareaanddropsthemdownthe
feedchuteintotherepot.
5. Firepot
Therepotismadeofhighqualityductileironandhasa
cleaningpull-outrod.Theooroftherepotopens for
cleaningwhenyoupullouttherod.Besurethattheoor
returnstoacompletelyclosedpositionoryourappliancewill
notoperateproperly.
6. Fuse
Thefuseislocatedonthefrontofthejunctionboxonthe
rightsideoftheappliance.Thefusewillblowshouldashort
occurandshutoffpowertotheappliance.
NOTE:
DoNOTopenthecontrolbox.Thiswillvoidthe
warranty.Ifyouneedtopluginorremovethecontrol
boxyoumustrst unplug the appliance.

internallightwillturngreenwhentheappliancehas

c.Thereisalsoaninternalbluelightlocatedintheupper
leftcornerofthecontrolbox.Whenyoupluginthe
