STATS was requested for the job step. The program specification block (PSB) for
this job step indicated an update intent, so discard logging processing was not
invoked.
System Action: Processing continues with IMS logging active.
User Response: This message is informational and is intended to identify job steps
with original JCL that specified IMS log data sets as DUMMY or NULLFILE but
that contained update intent. For these job steps, correct the log data set
specifications or the PSB intent and resubmit the job.
BMC48055I ATTEMPTING TO SET DISCARD LOGGING FOR READ ONLY JOBSTEP
Explanation: During the initialization process, the BATCH CONTROL
