Explanation: An error occurred in accessing the BATCH CONTROL FACILITY
(BCF) history data set. BCF received the indicated return code (rc), reason code
(rsn), and feedback code (fdbk).
System Action: Processing continues; however, statistics are not written to the
history data set.
User Response: Correct the error identified by the return code, reason code, and
feedback code shown in the message. Have these codes available if you contact
BMC Software Product Support for assistance.
BMC48084E OPEN OF BCFHIST (HISTORY FILE) FAILED. REQUEST TO DELETE
REPORT/LOGVOLS WILL BE IGNORED.
Explanation: The BATCH CONTROL FACILITY (BCF) batch delete program
could not open the BCFHIST data set. This may not be a problem if you are not
attempting to delete reports or log volume records.
System Action: Processing continues. Delete of REPORT/LOGVOLS is not
performed.
User Response: Ensure that the history data set name specified through a BCFHIST
DD statement is in usable condition.
