BMC74021I IMS EXCLUDE RECORD CREATED (progname, procstep, jobstep,
jobname, psbname, imsid, sysid)
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) has created an
IMS program exclusion record because no restart request was issued and the Check
XRST (CKXRST) option was set to WX (WARN,EXCLUDE) or AX
(ABEND,EXCLUDE). The message displays the qualifying information from the
identifier of the exclusion record: program name, procedure step name, job step
name, job name, program specification block (PSB) name, IMS ID, and MVS system
ID.
System Action: Processing continues. All Application Enhancement Solutions
(AES) products are excluded from participation in any subsequent executions.
User Response: This message is for your information only. No action is necessary.
BMC74022I NON-IMS EXCLUDE RECORD CREATED (progname, procstep, jobstep,
jobname, asbname, arcid, sysid)
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) has created a
non-IMS program exclusion record because no restart request was issued and the
Check XRST (CKXRST) option was set to WX (WARN,EXCLUDE) or AX
(ABEND,EXCLUDE). The message displays the qualifying information from the
identifier of the exclusion record: program name, procedure step name, job step
name, job name, application specification block (ASB) name, AR/CTL ID, and MVS
system ID.
System Action: Processing continues. All Application Enhancement Solutions
(AES) products are excluded from participation in any subsequent executions.
User Response: This message is for your information only. No action is necessary.
BMC74023W BASIC CHECKPOINTS ARE BEING CONVERTED TO SYMBOLIC
CHECKPOINTS BY AR/CTL FOR IMS
Explanation: APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL (AR/CTL) for IMS is
converting basic checkpoints to symbolic checkpoints because AR/CTL has
encountered at least one IMS basic checkpoint, the application program has not
issued the XRST (extended restart) call, and the Check CHKP (CKCHKP) option is
set to WC (WARN,CONVERT) or AC (ABEND,CONVERT). Because no XRST
call has been issued, the application program is not restartable.
System Action: Processing continues.
User Response: BMC Software recommends that you avoid using AR/CTL for this
application program because AR/CTL can provide no benefits but adds considerable
overhead to the execution. You can use any of several techniques to deactivate
AR/CTL, including automatic creation of an IMS program exclusion record. For
more information, see the APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL User Guide and the
APPLICATION RESTART CONTROL Reference Manual.
