6.5 Using DataView

®

Once the serial connection between the computer and the PowerPad

®

has been

completed, start DataView

®

.

There are two ways to open and use DataView

®

:

Using the Instrument Icon

• Double-click the PowerPad Icon that was created during installation,

located on the desktop.

• DataView

®

will open and the Connection window will appear

(see Figure 6-6).

Using the DataView Icon

• Double-click the DataView Icon that was created during installation,

located on the desktop.

• DataView

®

will open and display the DataView Quick Start window

(seeFigure6-5).

• Click the Congure Instrument button and the Connection window

willappear(seeFigure6-6).
