Accumulated energy data can be started or stopped and the results can be down-
loaded to a database and viewed on the screen, selected by phase.
NOTE: The data for all available phases are downloaded to a database or
spreadsheet, not just what is shown on the screen.

Shows a real-time trend of data from the PowerPad
®
. The data is an average of
waveforms downloaded to the PC. There might be 1 waveform per 2.6 seconds.
The data is summarized to 1 datapoint every 10 seconds.
NOTE: More data types are downloaded to a database or spreadsheet than what
is shown on the screen.
6.9 Downloading Data to Database
From the Instrument menu, select “Data” to download recorded data.
1. Select the data you want to Download by clicking on the desired tab
(Recordings,Photographs,etc.),thenclickingonthelename.
2. Select “Save”(thismaytakefewminutes).
3. Typeanameforthedownloadedleandclick“OK”. It can be saved as
a database to be viewed in DataView
®
orasacommadelimitedletobe
viewedinaspreadsheetprogram(e.g.Microsoft
®
Excel).
4. Alternatively, select “View”. After the download is complete, a window will
appear with a graph of the data and some viewing or channel options. In
that window you can select “Save” or “Print”.
5. From the Instrument treeview, expand the sections under “Recorded
Data from the instrument” then click on a line that describes the recorded
data. It will bring up a window with a graph of the data.
