6.6.1 General Functions

The buttons described below appear on several DataView

Setup Screens.

• Re-Read from Instrument: ReadsthecurrentcongurationofthePow-

erPad

®

attached via the serial cable.

• Save to File:Savesthecurrentconguration.Thislewillresideonthe

computer’sdiskdrive.Savingdifferentcongurationsetupscanbeuseful

for future functions and tests.

• Load from File: Retrievesasavedlefromthecomputer’sdiskdriveto

be used in programming the PowerPad

®

.

• OK:ClosesthedialogboxandbringsuptheControlPanel.

• Cancel: Exitwithoutsavingconguration.

• Apply: Programs the PowerPad

®

using the current settings without clos-

ing the window.

• Help: Opens the online Help.

such as, selecting the current probe.
