7.3 Measurement
As soon as you have selected the measurement protocol type
Fast Kinetics and you have clicked <Run>, the program
changes to the measurement menu [Fast Kinetics]. Communi-
cation with the Microplate Luminometer is established, provided
this has not already been done at the start of the program). “Ini-
tializing instrument” appears on the status bar and the yellow
LED lights up.
In the measurement menu [Fast Kinetics] the sample matrix i s
displayed first and below that a table for the measured values.
The table includes, row by row, the predefined data points for all
samples on the microplate (see Figure 7-7). A measurement of
the entire plate can also be started immediately by pressing the
Start button.
Selecting the wells to be measured
Mark the well group you want with the mouse and press the
button to confirm your selection.
The selected wells are presented white and the measure-
ment value table is displayed according to the selected wells
with data points (see Figure 7-8).
